Ambergris Caye

Ambergris Caye is the largest island in Belize, and the main destination for many travelers to Belize.  The island is 26 miles long and spans as little as 1 mile wide in some places and as wide as 5 miles at its widest point. The only town on the island is San Pedro Town, quaint and colorful, nestled beside the clear turquoise Caribbean Sea.  

Ambergris Caye and San Pedro Town is a charming jewel of the Caribbean.  There are so many quaint shops, restaurants, beach bars, and galleries about.  Mode of transportation is by bicycle or golf cart.  The Great Barrier Reef is only ½ mile off the shoreline and that view never tires.  You can choose to relax in the tranquility of the Sunset Beach Resort property or head to town and be a part of all the island charm or enjoy some of the many excursions available.
